Kawasaki KLR 650
A real dual purpose motorcycle with excellent handling both on tarmac and gravel roads. It comes with a powerful liquid-cooled 1-cylinder four stroke engine and a big tank for long range capability. Good comfort for a passenger due to the long and comfortable seat.
Suzuki DR 650
A real dual purpose like the KLR , lower and lighter than the Kawasaki, best handling on gravel roads. Propelled by a powerful air-oil cooled 1-cylinder four stroke engine it offers less comfort for a passenger than the Kawasaki because of the shorter seat.
   
BMW R 1100 GS
No need to say a lot about this motorcycle. Big, heavy and comfortable. Not recommended for gravel roads and inexperienced drivers.

KAWASAKI KLR 650 / SUZUKI DR 650

Rate per day: ZAR 550 plus ZAR 1.00 per km.
7 day minimum: ZAR 650 per day incl. 200 km per day; extra kilometres at ZAR 1.00 per km
Weekend special: (valid from Friday noon until Monday 10h00): ZAR 1400 including 400 kilometres, extra kilometres ZAR 1.00 per kilometre.
Excess and deposit: ZAR 10 000 by means of credit card

BMW R 1100 GS

Rate per day: ZAR 1000 per day incl. 200km per day, extra kms at ZAR 1.50 per km.
Excess and deposit: ZAR 10 000 by means of credit card.

All rates include C.D.W insurance

Accessories:

Full face helmets: ZAR 50 for the first day. ZAR 20 per day thereafter.
Late model full face motocross style helmets. The inner linings get cleaned for every customer. The rate includes motocross goggles.
Open face helmets: ZAR 30 for the first day, ZAR 15 per day thereafter.
The inner linings of the open face helmets get cleaned  for every customer. The helmets are equipped with a visor.
Luggage systems: Givi panniers or top cases, 36 litres, Le Cap soft bags 35 litres or 42 litres: ZAR 150 per week per item (minimum charge).

The motorcycles can be equipped with luggage systems as follows:

Kawasaki KLR 650:

Le Cap soft bag 35 litres or 42 litres.

Suzuki DR 650:

Le Cap soft bag 35 litres or 42 litres.

BMW R 1100 GS:

2 Givi panniers 36 litres. A tank bag (9 litres) is available at no extra expense.
